Seoul Players are very proud and excited to announce our next production, Tennessee Williams’ classic, A Streetcar Named Desire which will be performed during the last two weekends of March.
Currently we are looking for technicians, assistant stage managers, set and costume designers, and running crew. If you are interested in any of these positions, please shoot us an email at seoulplayers at gmail dot com!
We will also be holding AUDITIONS on December 10 & 11.
Where: Bar Carmen in Kyungnidan
Who: Actors of all ethnicities, able to southern accents.
When: December 10 & 11, 10am – 6pm
Prepare: A short modern (from the 20th century) monologue*
You don’t have to audition with your southern accent on, but be prepared at least to show us that you can do one.
*we will also have sides available for cold reads, but prepared monologues are strongly preferred.

Here’s a litte teaser for an upcoming project which we’re really excited about:
Our good friend and SP board member Cael Anton has recorded an album entitled “The Architect Becomes a Tree” dealing with concepts of environmentalism, alienation, and magic. We are partnering with Cael to help produce a film incorporating dance, animation and still art to accompany the film.
We had our first rehearsal for one of the dances pieces this weekend, shooting will begin in November. We will keep you updated on this project as it unfolds!

We are looking for actors and dancers of all ages and nationalities to perform in our TEN MINUTE PLAY COMPETITION. Pieces range from comedic to absurd to tragic; from kimbap chonguk to Heaven to Martian cafes, and each play is under ten minutes long! Performances will be in mid-October at Club After in Itaewon.
