Cast bios
- Amelie Joubert
Amelie is the 24-year-old Frenchie of the cast. Despite a few amateur
performances in France and elsewhere, Cosi is one of her first "serious"
shows (serious is in quote marks as it was truly a lot of fun) - the memory
of which she takes home with
her when leaving Korea in June.
- Joey L. Knight
Joey is a good ol' boy from Thomson. Georgia. A seven-year native of
Korea who is a high school English teacher. He has a beautiful wife, Minhee,
and a lovely newborn daughter named Grace. Joey loves the stage, the camera
(the spotlight in general), as well as Harleys & classic & country rock.
Thanks fer comin'!
- Craig McGeady
Craig was born in Greymou+h, NZ, and lived in Hamilton, NZ before moving
to Korea. He received a BMA in Film in 1999 and a BA in Drama in 2002. Craig
has appeared in short films and various stage productions including a lead
role in The Irish Annals of Aotearoa.' He made his stage directorial debut
in 2002 with a self penned play entitled 'Innocence.
- Denise Rinehart
After graduating with a BFA in Performing Arts, Denise Rinehart hit the
road touring professionally both at home and abroad. She now works as an
Assisting Professor of English through Drama at Seoul National University of
Technology where she founded Theatre Amoeba. Denise has directed three
English productions thus far with SNUT students. Training at the 2003
"School for Mimes Theatre" has led to future plans on working to create an
artistic and independent theatre focusing on the fusion of creative movement
and spoken word.
- David Oxenbridge
David started doing theatre in high school, his first production was
'Oliver wist'. Since that time he has acted in movies, extra'd in movies,
danced, sung and directed shows. His last theatrical performance in Korea
was with the Seoul Players in 'The Compleat Works of Wllm Shkspr
(abridged)'.
- Jessica Jacob-Pappas
Jessica loves the stage has been doing theatre since she was a little
tyke. Her first role was in the musical the Wizard of Oz where she played
the Wicked Witch of the West and it's been over the theatre rainbow ever
since. Jessica has a degree from California State University Fullerton in
dramatic Arts with an emphasis in Musical Theatre, and believes that the
theatre experience is one of the best forms of therapy and adventure a
person can have.
- Mat Malone
As a proud & patriotic Australian, Mat Malone likes to consume copious
amounts of beer, rant A rave about absolutely nothing, & occasionally make a
fool of himself on the dance floor. Somehow in his pursuit for a jar of
Vegemite while aimlessly wandering Asia, he
ended up in Korea. To vent his frustration from a day of teaching elementary
school English, Mat likes to dance naked in random daisy fields A pretend
that his sanity is still intact.
- Daami Cagney
Daami graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a BA in
brama. He has performed in a wide range of theatre and film/TV productions
in Australia and abroad. This is his first production with The Seoul
Players. He is currently single so if you ladies are looking for a cheap,
sleazy night in the sack, make yourself known to the Front
of House Staff.
